Hey @SenTedCruz, Black women, Native Women, and Alaskan Native Women are three times more likely to die during childbirth. Have you considered working on racial disparities as a public health issue, instead of working on combining state and religion to align with your views?
@SenTedCruz the increasing number of maternal deaths is alarming, yet you're silent on the issue of living humans dying. Some estimates have nearly 60% of maternal deaths as preventable, but here you are worried about a pill, while our sisters are dying in hospital beds.
In an effort to respect your view, which I completely disagree with @SenTedCruz, can't we agree we need to focus on the living mothers that are dying right now? When will you use your influence to work for our sisters, our mothers, our lovers? When is the time we care about them?
"Black, American Indian, and Alaska Native (AI/AN) women are two to three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women – and this disparity increases with age, researchers from the CDC"

In the rare event you read this thread, I ask you as a husband and father to people you love deeply, when do we stand up and fight for all women? When do we address our women dying?
lastly, stop giving medical advice, you're a juris doctor.
