A short thread about actual Texas values before the election; 1. @JohnCornyn and @TonyGonzales4TX are my @GOP and @TexasGOP candidates. Not a snowball's chance in hell that they will get my vote. It's not about party, it's that neither of them demonstrate Texas values.

I could go on for a long time but here's the bottom line; both suck up to @realDonaldTrump and are enablers of his treasonous agenda. While I respect that Gonzales served, I am baffled how he can support a president who;

won't protect the nation or our troops from Russian. Hell, Gonzales should know what it is like in a combat zone. I know because I did 7 combat deployments. Russian bounties on our troops and without @JohnCornyn or @realDonaldTrump or any other senior leader saying anything!

They both sit idly by while the intel community lays out Russian attacks on our election... again. Both have not advocated for a responsible response to the pandemic which is debilitating the nation and Texas. Both are either overtly or tacitly approving of Q conspiracy theories

Where's their leadership on civil rights, police reform and equality for all Texans? Yup, I can't find the evidence either. Texas values are unwavering patriotic duty to our fighting men and women, the Constitution, fair but firm law and order administered equally.

Nope, neither @JohnCornyn or @TonyGonzales4TX represent Texas values. I couldn't vote for either one and sleep at night. I don't know a Texan, R or D that could either. I'll vote for 2 badass and principled women combat Veterans to represent me; @mjhegar and @GinaOrtizJones
