I've been debating with myself over whether or not Kyle Rittenhouse should be held responsible for the shootings in WI because he was from out of state. It could be argued that he shouldn't have been there and the incident wouldn't have happened if he had just stayed home.

It has been reported that he was assisting with clean-up efforts and offering medical assistance to anyone that needed his help. This would be a mitigating factor in my eyes, but it really shouldn't matter. Rioters, looters and agitators are coming from out of state.

There is absolutely no reason why conservatives shouldn't be able to travel anywhere in the country for whatever reason they please. Even if that reason is to confront rioters, looters and agitators.

The videos I have seen make a convincing case for self-defense. It does not appear as if Kyle instigated any of the violence. It's also clear that violence had occurred and would have continued with or without Kyle's presence.

Travelling to another state to intervene in leftist violence is not a decision I would have made. I am a single father and my daughter depends on me. Getting myself shot in the back of the head on behalf of people that need to defend their own property is not a winning move.

However, if you consider that conservatives and normies are being overwhelmed by rioters, looters and agitators brought in from other regions, how does one condemn those who are willing to confront the violence before it occurs at home?

Staying at home and defending what you have might be the smart short-term choice, but if we don't start supporting each other everywhere, we're going to be overwhelmed by the cohesive tactics of the progressives and communists. These people are organized and well-funded.

Consider this before you condemn people brave enough to get involved. At least they're trying to do something before the entire country is overwhelmed with these insurrectionist savages.
