After taking some time to understand what is happening with @tylerrjoseph , I find that this pic is much more than a joke with the word “platforms”. I see a sad man facing me , and wearing platforms much too big and heavy for him. I take it as a metaphor of Tyler’s situation (1)
I see a man thinking “ I crumble underneath the weight pressures of a new place roll my way” cause he knows he is not a superhero, he will not solve all the problems of the world and people ask him more than he can give. He committed himself ten years ago to a cause (2)
Mental health and suicide prevention. It was his purpose. It IS his purpose. He puts all that he can give in this fight : for himself, for others. He helps millions of people around the world by giving them more strength and hope and energy to battle every day and stay alive (3)
Every good man tries to act positively and add more love in the world : but the fight of Martin Luther King was not the same that the fight of Nelson Mandela or Teresa of Calcutta or Greta Thunberg . I think it is better to choose ONE cause and make it our purpose ... (4)
Than react emotionally to every problem of the world ( and there are A LOT !), focus on it during some weeks .. and then forget it. I find that his tweets are a proof of humility, courage, maturity, sincerity, determination. Follow him for who he is and what he does.. (5)
... not for what YOU would like him to be and to do. « please don’t put your life in the hands of a rock and roll band ». Follow them ... and other people. Think by yourself. Make your own choices, commit to your own cause, the world needs you ... and peace to men of good will💛
