I& #39;m going to explain why you often see me get my back up about this.

Women in tech have lamented the lack of cute tech options forever.

And when we talk about it, we get told to make it ourselves. Okay!

And then when we make it ourselves and make it pink, we then get "this doesn& #39;t cater to me or my style" comments. And usually, if not always, these comments are made by men.

I see it all the time with the merchandise that @sailorhg and others make. And honestly, we& #39;re tired of it.

Basically the entire industry of hardware and software caters to men. Look at water cooled PCs and tell me how many of them look like mine.

The answer is almost none. So maybe, keep the comments about what you would have done differently to yourself.

It& #39;s just a bummer.

I make stuff for me and people like me who like to be super feminine or soft and enjoy it. I wish more of y& #39;all would just leave out the "oh it& #39;s cool BUT x, y, z" comments.
