Thomas and Martha had only one son, Bruce. He spent his days reading, playing and being watched over by Freddie, their wise old house manager.

One day after a movie about Zoro at 20th Century CBD, the little family drove back home.
Carjackings and muggings had started to be a thing you see. With the recent wealth inequalities being created via corruption.

Thomas didn't drive much but that day was a special treat for himself and his family. He wasn't used to watching whether he was being followed.

They pulled up to their gate. Bruce was dozing off in the back, dreaming of adventures in a black costume. Martha got out first so she could carry him into their house.

3 thugs were on them in seconds! Martha screamed. Thomas quickly got out and tried to fight them off. Bruce woke up frightened and confused with all the commotion. Just as he looked out at the scene outside, the thugs panicked ans shot Thomas first

Martha screamed even louder, dogs in the neighborhood were starting to bark. The spaces between the homes were too large for anyone to get out in time. The thugs panicked even worse, grabbed at Martha's necklace then shot her too. The child saw everything.

Their car screeched away chaotically. By the time Freddie and the rest found little Bruce kneeling and sobbing over his parents bodies, it was too late...
