2. AAMP is the region’s foremost cultural institution depicting the arts, culture, and history of the Black experience-an experience that is intrinsic to the history of this city- but is outside the “historic district,” across the federal prison and the round house.
3. They rely heavily on the City and have been consistently underresourced, completely cut off in the initial revised budget (only $230K) while PMA still received $2M. They have been looking to move closer to tourist foot traffic.
4. That they would have to rely on this controversial deal to finally get this, is unfair. That they have yo rely on this controversial is not being called out in criticism, is also unfair.
