Why Davido and Burna Boy both have 1billion streams album and Wizkid doesn’t.

My attention has been drawn to Davido fans and outsiders playing the “I billion streams album” cards and I wanna clear that.

Before the release of SFTOS July 14 2017, Wiz only dropped 5 singles off it and that is (Daddy yo) which was the earliest single he released Dec. 23 2016, Others were dropped March 2017 (sweet love, come closer) and June 2017 (African bad girl, Naughty Ride)

and he only released only 3 vids for the whole album.... so the Gap after dropping his lead singles b4 dropping SFTOS is 6 MONTHS given that the first single was released at the ending of December 2016

Burna Boy released African Giant Album 26th July 2019, but prior to that he has dropped 6 singles from it Months back as early as September 2018, On the low, Gbona, Killin Dem, Dangote, Anybody and pull up, with vids for 6 of them and they’ve already made waves

so it was already a huge boost to the album so when he released the album, it further boosted the sales and streams, coupled by the push from Atlantic, it became a successful album, so the gap from the first single to the album release is 11 months....

so the vids to singles ratio is higher than SFTOS, The Singles b4 Album duration is higher than SFTOS... these points explains why it did better than SFTOS in streams

Davido had singles from as far as February 2017 on a 2019 album, he had vids for 80% of the Songs on the album, had massive payola b4 and after dropping the album on November 22, 2019, the 2 singles from 2017 already had 300million plus streams across all platforms,

so coupled with the streams of 2+years songs, Massive payola, vids for 80% of the songs how wouldn’t it get 1billion streams? But despite all this, it charted only on 2 categories on billboard

Nb. Imagine if Wizkid adds Soco (yes he can)which has almost 200 million+ streams across all platforms, Fever, Joro to MADE IN LAGOS album, it would get 1 billion in just a month and I’m not capping,

plus Davido’s entire career stream is 1.5billion, Burna 1.3billion while Wizkid is 5billion plus and without One dance he’s still comfortably sitting at the top with 2billion+
So let’s be guided.... plus SFTOS is not on Audiomack
