You will never hear anyone say ‘my neighbors are better parents so I will send my children over’. Never.

I have the same attitude to food, to education & to health.

True freedom starts from being able to feed ourselves, educate our children & care for our parents.

I believe we should do everything within our power to achieve food security, to localize food production & processing.

To be dependent on food produced by others & subsidized by their government is naked economic slavery.

Food security is the first step to economic freedom.
While ‘cheaper’ rice from Thailand has become part of our addiction, it cannot be how we measure progress.

For as long as stable food such as yam & cassava that are produced locally are cheaper, I am against rice dependency

Only by supporting our farmers can we be food secure.
..we cannot outsource the education of our children to other countries. We must act collectively to improve our educational infrastructure & outcomes.

Our future will be secured by localizing knowledge, domesticating technology, owning our education.

Nothing to debate here.
And finally healthcare. It is a precarious existence to depend on anyone for basic medical infrastructure & treatment

If COVID19 taught me anything, it is that we are living on borrowed time. If we don’t fix healthcare, especially pharmaceutical & healthcare R&D, we are dead.
