So yesterday I sent round a spreadsheet of users who have to complete something to a bunch of managers in customer services, and one of them responded complaining that they can't look through a 693 names to find her 42 line reports and could I please send it by departments
The first column in the spreadsheet WAS departments, so she could just filter it by that. OR she could ctrl+F her name. I truly do not understand how someone can be the manager of 42 fucking people and not know how to filter a goddamn excel spreadsheet?!???
I feel like you should be able to report management staff for not meeting the basic requirements of MS Office skills, and have them sent on remedial courses.
controversial take but you shouldn't be getting paid >£70k a year when you can't meet the minimum required tech skills of anyone interviewing to join the company at an admin/entry level
