Ok my theorey is that Tyler Joseph was trying to make a thread for suicide prevention week but he didn’t know how to use the thread tool. That’s why he tweeted a bunch of tweets one after the other even though he could’ve made a thread which would’ve been much clearer.

I think the platform shoes picture was supposed to be an opening tweet to show that he’s finally ready to use his platform to spread awareness. It probably took him so long to continue the thread because he had to formulate the words for the upcoming tweets.

People thought Tyler was mocking them for wanting him to speak up so there was major backlash. Tyler finally decided to speak up about BLM but it wasn’t his original topic of discussion. He apologized for offending anyone because he was trying to make an innocent dad joke.

I honestly think this is a huge misunderstanding :(
