- before i begin, i won& #39;t be tackling everything. if you have a specific template in mind but don& #39;t know what to do, i will only teach the basics of carrd here.

- i normally go with a blank canvas BUT there are templates for you to choose from if you have no clue where to start
- learn the elements first (i won& #39;t go through each one on this thread)
- example: (just click the + and add image or text) to edit the color of the background click anywhere on the bg
- people prefer the ones with a box around it so to do this click + then container and edit it to your liking (color, corner rounding size, etc.)
- you can add buttons to be directed to another page! (just click + then buttons and edit to your liking (size, color, corner rounding, font, etc.)
- here& #39;s where people get confused. in order for the BUTTON to work, click + then control.
- let& #39;s say you want to click the & #39;about me& #39; button, edit the name to #aboutme or whatever you& #39;d wanna place
- let& #39;s say you want to click the & #39;about me& #39; button, edit the name to #aboutme or whatever you& #39;d wanna place
1. go back to the button
2. edit the URL and place the # you just placed
3. in my case, you place #aboutme
(what this does is whenever you click the actual about me button, everything you placed under #aboutme will show up)

- now, it& #39;s your time to edit the about me section! here& #39;s an example:

- you can basically play around with everything from here on! I& #39;ll show more examples.
- once you get the basics down, here are more things you can place.
1. icons (always make sure to edit the URL of what section on the website you want to go to so you when you click on them, you& #39;ll be directed to that section)
