First of all, the Nathan Millsap video has audio from the man filming.

There are also echos off the concrete.

The death squad members were SHOUTING LOUDLY to disorient Danielson.

The shouting was picked up--EVERY WORD--in the Dunlap video.

No echos. Only the voices of the five-person death squad.

Now, Chandler Pappas can't be expected to know exactly what happened.

I've survived TWO murder attempts.

(Three, if you count the Regent's Park bombing by the IRA on July 20, 1982.)

The first one-on-one murder attempt was in 1995, when I was 33.

I was ambushed in the parking lot of my bookstore on December 28. A guy popped out of the darkness and screamed "Don't f*ck with me, man! Don't f*ck with me!"

That was the bop lingo back then for "I'm about to kill you."

Today, the cool kids say, "Wassup? Wassup?"

The guy stuck an Intratec TEC-9 semiautomatic pistol in my face and pulled the trigger.

He didn't know that the TEC-9 is called the "Jam-o-matic."

The gun didn't fire, but I lost my mind and ran. The rest of the story doesn't matter. I lived.

The second murder attempt was just a couple of months ago.

My BLUE CITY released all the criminals and stopped arresting offenders.

A homeless woman had been arrested five times for kicking my back door and threatening to murder me.

The sixth time the cops told the woman to go away and said they were tired of coming out to my house. It was MY FAULT for not having a fence.

I had to build a fence.

With all the hardware stores and businesses closed by the state.

I know California gun laws well.

So there's no way in hell that I would defend myself with a firearm.

I'd be writing you from prison if I had.

So I decided to just be extra careful at night.

GUESS WHAT?

She came in the afternoon.

With a male friend.

They ambushed me as I stepped out my backdoor.

He was standing to my left. He'd removed a chair so there was room for him.

He shoved me into the handrail, and I fell to the cement on my hands and knees.

For some reason there was a chunk of concrete the size of a Burger King Whopper in the garden right where I fell.

Weird.

I picked it up and turned to see him flapping his arms as though trying to fly.

Typical homeless-guy coat and knitted cap.

He had a short knife in his right hand.

"Yeah, that's right! Wassup? Wassup?" he shouted.

I'm now 58, with severe osteoarthritis of the spine and hip, Meniere's disease, and multiple psychiatric condition.

I was perfectly calm. Almost indifferent.

The Author of All Things watchers over me, right?

What will be, will be.

So he charged. I stayed on my knees.

About five seconds later, he had broken ribs, and no left eye. The woman's nose was flat.

They left and never came back.

Because of California, I had to fight like a caveman for my life in my own backyard.

So I know for a fact that you won't let DEATHS SQUADS stand.

Here's the enhanced Dunlap video. No echos. Only the voices of the death squad.

1st male voice (MV): "Move! Move! (pause) Move!

2nd MV: "Hey! Enemy club's over here! We got a couple right here!"

3rd MV: "Him?"

2nd MV: "Pull it out."

3rd MV: "Right here?"

(Hissing sound)

(Two gunshots.)

Female voice: "Knocked him off!"

4th MV: "Go! Go! Go!"

As far as I can tell, they used a "floating box formation" or "double column formation."

No video is clear enough to show the death squad with any certainty, but the gunman and the 1st male voice were across the street from Danielson.

The two other males and the female were on the same side of the street as Danielson.

The 1st male voice shouted at the gunman to move, move, move, and the others were close enough for him to see them.

The gunman is left handed and doesn't draw his pistol until told "Pull it out."

You can see by the context and the actions that this was planned.

Also, they located a stranger, identified him, murdered him, and escaped in 14 seconds.

This was planned.

By asking, "Him? Right here?" the gunman ADMITS to a planned and rehearsed assassination.

He was also told "Pull it out," meaning the 2nd male voice knew that the gunman was armed and would fire when ordered to do so.

My guess is that the female stayed behind to assess.

The New York Times is trying to muddy the waters.

My guess is everyone knows what happened.

I never thought this would happen in the US.

My only consolation is the knowledge that you will win reelection, cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war.
