Reaching the 100 day milestone is awesome but also bittersweet. Thailand has done a superb job of managing the health crisis, especially as it was the first country outside of China to detect the virus. Tourism is so important to so many people's livilihood here. The IMF this week estimate Thailand is taking the biggest hit worldwide due to the drop in tourism. There also isn't the same safety net in Thailand that other wealthier countries can provide citizens
Knowing the virus returned to Vietnam and New Zealand at around 100 days makes me a bit nervous that it's likely only a matter of time before it returns to Thailand too. But it's also reassuring that both of those countries seem to be getting their outbreaks under control
