This part was really shocking—finding out how important the Soul Gems truly are the hard way...no wonder she went insane at some point.

This one’s obviously sad.

Madoka’s way too selfless for her own good, I swear. (Lowkey why she’s my favorite)

She gives Homura the Grief Seed instead of using it herself, which causes another loop and akndjfkanndjdkdnnsmdkdkkskamdnksa

Ok I know this scene is good in many ways, but in this scene, Homura is about to lose her best and closest friend—the only one who cared about her truly.

Ahhhh this is when Mami tries to stop Homura for shooting herself, which helps Homura think she gets away, only for Mami to outplay her snakkfodo but still

I love the fact that Madoka and Mami could’ve been a dynamic duo...but Madoka also got Mami’s hope up. And because of that, she wasn’t careful enough, and died.

One of the first signs of Sayaka going insane/her Soul Gem going dark.

This scene is so well-written. Sayaka telling Madoka to basically “screw off” and “if you helped me, maybe i wouldn’t be like this” and then as soon as she runs away, she starts crying and saying “why did i say that?!”

This scene is while Homura is trying - and failing - for the umpteenth time to kill Walpurgisnacht

After Madoka gave us hope, she started bringing despair, and this is when I thought it was all done for. There’s no way Homura could kill Madoka’s witch. It was too powerful—powerful enough to destroy a whole universe, as one of the past loops showed.

This is when Kyoko sacrificed herself to kill Sayaka - or Oktavia - so she wouldn’t be alone is death. Because Kyoko knows what it’s like to be alone.

This is while Homura’s in her Witch form, I’m pretty sure—Homulily. She’s going through so much despair right now—and all of it to do with losing Madoka and having to live with the fact that she isn’t here anymore.

This moment was supposed to be it. This is where Homura becomes happy again...right?

Out of nowhere, Homura becomes a demon—Homura Akuma.

This scene caught me so off guard-

When Kyoko finds out that Sayaka isn’t actually alive. She died—she got swept away by the Law of Cycles, and when they get back to the real world, she won’t see Sayaka until she dies—however long that may be.

And I shall end this thread with this:
