#Bluejays running into outs on the bases, a compendium:

1. Aug. 4 Teoscar Hernandez picked off first base.

2. Aug. 7 Bo Bichette thrown out at third on a grounder to short (not a force).

3. Aug. 7 Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. thrown out at third as Rowdy Tellez scores on his 2B.
4. Aug. 8 Rowdy Tellez picked off first base; caught stealing.

5. Aug. 8 Travis Shaw thrown out at home trying to score from second on a single.

6. Aug. 11 Lourdes Gurriel, Jr. thrown out at third trying to advance

7. Aug. 12 Shaw thrown out at second tagging up on a fly out.
8. Aug. 15 Randal Grichuk trying to score on a grounder to third.

9. Aug. 18 Travis Shaw at second trying to stretch.

10. Aug. 21 Lourdes Gurriel, Jr. trying to score from second on an infield single.

11. Aug. 22 Cavan Biggio trying to score from second on a wild pitch.
12. Aug. 25 Danny Jansen trying to advance to second on a throw to the plate.

13. Aug. 29 Randal Grichuk trying to stretch a single into a double.

14. Aug. 31 Teoscar Hernandez picked off second.

15. Aug. 31 Lourdes Gurriel, Jr. trying to score on a grounder to second.
16. Aug. 31 Lourdes Gurriel, Jr. trying to score from first on a double to RF.

17. Sept. 1 Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. picked off second.

18. Sept. 2 Jonathan Villar trying to stretch a single into a double.

19. Sept. 2 Gurriel hesitating on a wild pitch and getting hung up.
20. Villar getting back-picked at third.

So clearly this isn't a case of huge mistake after huge mistake. A lot of them were good, aggressive plays. Far fewer #Bluejays brain locks than just looking at "20 runners lost on the bases" indicates. A few doozies, though.
