Finding Rocks: Locations

-Craft, gardening, or landscaping stores
-Outside in your yard, a river, a beach, etc. *Remember to check if it’s okay to take rocks from the beach or pearl as some places have rules against it

Finding Rocks - Rock Tips

-Be sure to clean any rocks you use from outside with soap and water
-The best rocks have a smooth and/or flat surface

When Painting Rocks:
-Best to use acrylic paint or acrylic paint markers
-Set out a place for you to paint and a place for your rocks to dry
-To preserve from the elements you can use a sealant
