It is with great pleasure that I present a list of your most terrible grievances, upon this World Wide Web. I write to you within Twitter, a place well-suited to lists of grievances. Let these facts be submitted to a candid world, for all to see and comment beneath. 2/14

Your willingness to unjustly punish us is positively appalling. You do not pass our laws, do not give us representation within the Houses of Parliament, and you have called meetings in places where we will be exhausted, to more easily agree to your outrageous demands. 3/14

You have not allowed the migration of peoples from the incredibly diverse lands of England, Scotland, and Ireland to settle this land which was definitely uninhabited before we arrived, and you have prevented our continued spread with these authoritarian regulations. 4/14

You have forced us to take part in the horrendously bad royal courts rather than create our own. We have lost our right to govern ourselves, and our judges depend on you for their livelihoods, rather than the people they actually serve justice to. 5/14

You have kept soldiers in our midst, when no soldiers are needed. The British military has been made more powerful than the public, and we have been unable to argue our case within the Palace of Westminster. No representation in the government is a symptom of tyranny! 6/14

You have allowed British troops into our homes without our consent, and have protected them from the legal consequences of murder. This is inexcusable behavior, and we've been in a living hell with these gross reminders of your lordship over us. 7/14

You have sent us overseas to be tried for crimes we didn't commit; you have taxed us immensely and we have not seen the benefits, and we are tired of your continued exploitation of our time and energy for your own gain. We definitely do not do this to anyone else, obviously. 8/14

You have abolished our laws and our governments and replaced them with your own, in order to more fully control the threat to your sovereignty which we pose. This is #oversteppingyourbounds, my dude. 9/14

You will no longer protect our natural rights - life, liberty, and property - and instead wage war against our livelihoods in order to further your own ends. It's not our fault you lost the Seven Years’ War, don't put the financial burden on us. You break it, you buy it! 10/14

In fact, you've already attacked us! You've stolen our goods, burned our towns, ravaged our people. You've occupied our cities and taken away our freedom. We want out, and you'd better go along with it or there's gonna be trouble. 11/14

You've hired German mercenaries -- foreigners -- to kill us. Germans! I don't understand how you can work with them. If you're going to hire mercenaries, they should at least be Swedish or something! Much more fun to get murdered by. 12/14

You have turned our own countrymen against us, through your unjust capture of our ships on the high seas. 'Tis a hard thing, to fight against one's own, and especially to be killed by one's own because of the dictatorship of a man living 3500 miles away. 13/14
