my dad is arguably a better parent than my mom, he definitely wanted to have children and be there to raise them. he did everything and knew everything about us when we were kids.
grade 1 interview i went with my dad, he was always on time to pick me up for doctor's appointments and knew exactly why i had them, always on time after school, packed our bags for extra murals on specific days and knew exactly what to pack, polished our school shoes, bathed us
knew exactly what homework you had due or what classes you had that day, our friends names and their families and sometimes where they stayed, what to not put in whose lunchbox, which teacher teaches you what, what you're good at, allergies, things you hate and why
dropped us off on time at school and made a plan when he cant. i know this is all things parents are supposed to do but i dont take it for granted especially hearing most people's experiences with their dads and how he could've done what seems to be the norm but he didnt
my mom just kind of wings things, like we here now what else can she say 😭😭😭lmao
