DISCUSSING/RANTING ABOUT MAKO: a much needed thread

Look this isn’t a hate thing I just wanna say my opinions on him. So no, I don’t hate mako at all! He got on my nerves a couple times and can be annoying asf but I still don’t hate him. Cuz tbh he’s really not that bad. Some of y’all are just dramatic and use “toxic” too much

Okay so let’s start with the obvious, relationship drama. I’m just gonna say it. Mako shoulda never kissed korra back! Idc if she did this or that or blah blah blah. This ain’t about her rn it’s about mako and he shoulda known not to kiss her back!

He had no right to go and cheat on asami like that and to try and hide it from her! She deserved to know the truth! And then the way he goes back and forth between them?! Like Ik they’re out of the reason too but jfc.

He shouldn’t have went right back to asami after he JUST broke up with korra. Like Ik they wasn’t doing well anyways but still have some decency, some sensitivity. Literally as soon as he breaks up with one he goes to the other. Like dude? Wtf? Ain’t you ever heard of MOVING ON?!

Okay they all need to move in but my point still stands! He shouldve been moved on from korra and asami and stop playing with them. Bitch pick one! He shoudlve picked one since day one! Maybe if he did that from the beginning he could’ve been with one of them in the end

But nope he fucked them both ever and they finally decided they was over his trifling ass and dated each other Sorry got sidetracked but yeah mako really isn’t toxic or abusive, just a bitch.

Okay time to move on to his actual character. It’s boring, bland, plain, just nothing. Like he’s hot but that’s his most redeeming quality. Everything else is annoying or boring. He’s not an awesome fire bender like Azula and Zuko

He’s not funny like sokka and bolin, He’s not kind like katara and iroh, he’s just mako. Hot and a two timing firebending hussy. There’s no real development to him or any change. He’s a side character that happens to be a main character
