i think there should be some more room for discussion on girl group choreo - specifically how its often soaked in misogyny - without the automatic jump to complete defense of it.
one of the reasons why men look silly doing it or even “masculinizing” girl group choreo might be part in how uncomfortably provocative a lot of it is. men just have the privilege of editing that sexualization or infantilisation out of the choreo where women just.... don’t.
and when women in kpop DO have choreo that isnt explicitly sexual or baby-like its usually met with praise which is not inherently wrong, but the demonization of girl group choreo in turn that IS sexual and cutesy is often without any level of nuance on both sides of the argument
its objectively wrong to act like girl group choreo as a whole isn’t challenging or interesting, but also there is a complicated discussion on gg choreography stylistically and what it represents for girl groups thats either ignored or shut down.
