While on return, Coach Siddique got a call from Kolkata, wherein Dalhousie AC was looking for a fast bowler. Convinced by coach Siddique, Shami took the Amritsar Mail to Kolkata. Shami bowled in the SF match taking 4 wickets announcing his arrival at Kolkata. 2/6
