I don’t “want to be a woman.”
I don’t “identify as a woman.”
I tried for decades to not be a woman.
But I just *am* a woman.

Once I accepted that, life got so much better and things made more sense.
Before accepting it, I existed in a subtle yet perpetual state of trauma.
I don’t “identify as a woman.”

I just wish people understood that I don’t want to be any particular identity, I just want to be myself, and my self is a woman.
I didn’t choose to be trans, being trans chose me.
