Homophobia in muslim countries : a thread

First of : islam is clear on the fact that having sexual relationship / expressing your sexuality, is haram, therefore, islam is also clear that, its something normal that you cant control, now lets get into the part i wanted to adress

Its known that in most muslim countries, there are multiple laws anti-LGBT, denying it is being part of the problem, but what a lot of people ignore, this homophobic mentality didnt actually came from islam, its a mostly cultural thing, but, what a lot of people ALSO ignore

Homophobia in the muslim country actually, came with the European colonosation, before that, there were no laws about that.

That doesnt excuse the fact that these laws are extremly hurtfull and stupid, these were just information for you to stop relating it to religion
Also, free information, if you excuse your islamophobia with the fact that you're lgbtq+ or if you excuse your homophobia with the

Fact that you're muslim, in both cases, you're a piece of shit, and i dont want to be related to you in anyway
And actions like the ones @/alaskan.boii - Caleb King, (and lots of other people with platforms) do, are in fact, more hurtfull to the community who faces the oppression
