Before any meditation takes place, you have to first choose what part of yourself you are working on: spiritual, mental, emotional, or physical.

You can choose more than one and combine techniques, but if you’re just starting out, then focus on getting in the basics.
Afterwards, I take a minute or two to reflect on what I gained/released from my session.

Also, creating a safe space/an alter is important for getting the most out of your meditation practices. Consider doing that once you find what meditation method works best for you.
With this method, you’ll be working on overcoming limited beliefs you may have been questioning.

Visualization

bring that moment or goal or manifestation to life with visualization. You can do this by focusing your energy and attention in your mind’s eye. This way you communicate to The Universe exactly what you want, how it will come to you, and when you will receive it.
Self-hypnosis (ONLY DO BEFORE SLEEPING)

Now">https://www.skillsyouneed.com/ps/self-h... I will honestly tell you that I have only done self-hypnosis once or twice. I have nothing against it, it just isn’t for me. If you are experiencing overwhelming life experiences and you need to relieve-
stress or force yourself to relax, this can help. By going into this hypnotic state, you are connecting with your subconscious and learning what is it exactly that needs to be let go in your daily routine so you can find peace again. This isn’t for everyone, but it’s an option.
Words of Affirmation (Ex. “I am..., I have..., I love...”)

post-it note in your pocket, make it your lock screen, set a reminder, write them in your journal, it doesn’t matter as long as you can see & say them at anytime no matter how busy you are. Start speaking positive & kindness into life & watch how quickly things turn around.
Guided Meditation (Ex. YouTube & Podcasts)
Now these are pretty helpful for people who have a hard time with actually sitting in silence or have no idea what to do for meditation. They have guided meditations for pretty much any area of life and are easy to follow once you’ve-
started using them. Start off with the 5-10 minute ones then work you way up over time. Remember the amount of views someone has to doesn’t equal good/bad quality. Use discernment. If you’re not feeling the meditation, find a new one.
