You all are taking this “I hate stays” joke way too far. Yeah we’re clowns and we have problematic people in the fandom (just like every fucking fandom btw), but stay is still a comfort place and home for a lot of stays and the negativity is actually really fucking harmful.

You have to learn that a joke is no longer a joke when you overuse it and it starts to become really hurtful. It’s just like how bullies in grade school gaslight by saying “oh it’s just a joke” when they say it 10 times a day. It’s no longer a joke then.

Sk/z have worked so hard to make this such a comforting and safe place for all of us, and at this point it’s not even the problematic people ruining it, it’s the regular stays who make a joke out of it. It’s not quirky or edgy to say you hate your fandom.

like yeah there are times where it’s deserved, don’t get me wrong, but there are times when it definitely ISNT. Stays have done a lot of amazing things, and even in the midst of these accomplishments some of y’all still think it’s funny to bring negativity.

Stay is a safe place for a lot of people, and by perpetuating this idea that we all hate each other 24/7, we are ruining that safe place for each other. And BULLYING a stay when they said they love stays??? That’s way too fucking far, and that’s actually horrible
