Moss was removed from his position as SPD spokesperson in 2005 after his arrest for DUI. That was later amended to a lesser charge of misdemeanor “negligent driving”

Then, in 2009, Moss was arrested again on allegations that he assaulted his spouse with a kitchen knife after she confronted him about his infidelity.
According to the charging documents, his wife alleged that he pushed her and cut her hands.

Moss was acquitted. His defense argued that his wife had self-harmed in the past. Shew was also opposed to Moss’s prosecution & wasn’t cooperative (Sadly, a running theme. Sgt. Ron Murray& #39;s victim also sought clemency/refused to cooperate. See yesterday& #39;s thread)

Moss was arrested a third time in 2011, again for DUI. The arresting officer didn’t administer a breathalyzer on scene, blaming a dead battery.
By the time he was tested an hour and a half later, he was just below the legal limit.
