You& #39;re right about what the Us and Them mentality can do but it doesn& #39;t apply here. This is called a Formal Fallacy. It means that your premise is true (what you said on Us and Them) but your conclusion (claiming "lesbians don& #39;t like men" is harmful) does not relate.
"Lesbian" is not purely a sexual word and using the word to define your attraction to a woman& #39;s looks and not how you feel romantically is misogynistic.
There& #39;s a lot of things that are wrong with this statement but what I& #39;m writing here is what I think could best make sense to you. Bi women and lesbians all belong to the LGBTQ+ community. Lesbians just want to exist with a label that defines them for who they are.
To say that lesbians are isolating bi women out from being attracted to women is exactly the same as saying that trans women are isolating non-binary people out from being trans. Notice how that doesn& #39;t make sense? It& #39;s not suppose to. That& #39;s how "bi lesbian" women sound like.
At the end of the day, bi women like women and lesbians like women, both of which belong under the LGBTQ+ community. But bi women and lesbians aren& #39;t the same in the same sense that non-binary people and trans women aren& #39;t the same.
Continuing off tweet two of reason three (and going into tweet three of reason three), saying whether someone is ace or allo isn& #39;t harmful, it& #39;s just stating what is and what isn& #39;t. Ace is no sexual attraction whatsoever; allo is the ability to feel sexual attraction.
The same applies to cisgender and transgender. It& #39;s not alienating to say whether someone is cis or trans, it& #39;s just stating what is true.
Honestly I think you just want to be called a lesbian so bad without having been born one so you had to create your own which is invalid, and just sad. I would say to go educate yourself but I don& #39;t think people actually do that when told so this is my attempt at doing it for you
