Happy Anniversary The Sims 4! 🥳Time for some positivity! So I'm gonna list some of the stuff that I love about this game (and no, I'm not gonna list CAS or Build mode because that's a given for me) in no particular order 👇👇👇
Toddlers: the best ones in the franchise IMO
Restaurants and venues in general: I love all the customisation options for restaurants, and community venues are always lively and full.
The Calendar: customizing holidays and traditions, this is what I'm here for!
Parenthood: love the character value system, and the ability to choose our sims' parenting style.
Multitasking: I really can't live without it (and yes, I know other games had it but trust me...this is better), My families mainly socialize at dinner time, talking about their days etc.
University: to me, it's the perfect mix between TS2 and TS3.
Houshold Manager and ability to choose whether to play rotationally (TS2 style) or focus on one household (TS3 style): THANK YOU.
Needs: they're well balanced, and they don't drop too fast (TS1) or too slow (TS3). My sim actually has to eat at least three times a day.
Fame and the acting career: it is not as intrusive as other games, and the acting career is fun (when it works)
CAS: the end of ugly randomised maternity clothes, and also no more "closed" clothing categories. Wanna wear a bikini as outerwear? be my guest
Patches: they take a long time but it is clear they have been listening and what's more important, they patch th stuff in for free: toddlers, terrain tools, lounge chairs, ladders, gardeners, firefighers, gender customization and (soon) skintones. Hope this trend continues!
