#COVID19Ireland update, 2 September:

29,114 (+89) total cases.

Another person with coronavirus has died. The death toll is now 1,777 following the de-listing of some cases.

Ireland's COVID-19 tracker app is here: http://gov.ie/en/service/da832-download-the-covid-tracker-app/

More graphs follow in the thread. 1/
These two graphs show the growth factor for #COVID19 cases in Ireland, the first with daily numbers and the second as a five-day rolling average. 2/
These graphs show our percentage daily increases, colour-coded according to phase of lockdown or easing of lockdown, and with separate means for each. The second graph displays a log transformation for proportionality.

Ratios of means per phase-change: 0.22, 0.05, 0.20, 4.65. 3/
These graphs track the numbers of people with COVID-19 who have died in Ireland. Please be mindful of yourself and others while viewing or sharing, as they are obviously very sobering and grim (and there are real people who have died behind these numbers). 4/
Here are the #COVID19Ireland hospital data as of midnight 31 August. 5/
These two graphs explore the trends in Irish #COVID19 cases for each age group. Health warning: many of the data for over-65s are 'backcasts' estimated from their ratios since the NPHET began issuing the further-disaggregated data. 6/
These two graphs show trends in hospitalisation across the age groups (18 March to present). Same health warning applies to the data for the three over-65 age groups. 7/
These graphs show the proportionate role of three #COVID19 transmission types in Ireland up to 31 August. The first graph shows only data for known types, the second includes unknowns (>90% of which are estimated). 'Local' here means close contact with a confirmed case. 8/
Here's the latest Trolley Watch update from @INMO_IRL. 9/
Usual disclaimer: I'm not an epidemiologist or a medic, I just make data visualisations. These are here to help with the reading of sometimes-overwhelming official tabular data and are not presented as output from, or a substitute for, domain expertise that I do not have. 10/
