yoongi as jungkook's emotional comfort boy: a thread

we have to start with the yoonkook kkul fm, which was an hour of gentle reassurances and yoongi always making sure jungkook wouldn't get the chance to put himself down, constantly telling him how good he is, always taking care of jk knowing what he just went through

when yoongi explained that jungkook has a heart so big that people didn't understand just how much love it could hold, and how the rest of them had to realize the full capacity, and give him that love

jungkook always wonders what he did in his previous life to deserve all the love he receives now, but it's the way yoongi so softly said "you were probably good at everything you did"

when jungkook got injured, yoongi stayed with jungkook as the doctor spoke to him about the injury and he accompanied jungkook around just to be a comforting presence around him

both for jungkook and tae, yoongi sending them really long letters and ending it with "i love you"

yoongi telling jungkook "it's okay to cry, as long as you don't cry alone"

when jungkook felt bad about his performance on the first ly concert, yoongi was quick to reassure him that he was 102/100

jungkook was putting himself down, thinking he's insignificant bc he didn't study well and felt he was slower than others, and yoongi said that studying isnt just about books but also the other things jungkook is constantly learning

jungkook saying he can't stick to one thing but yoongi reassures him that it's okay to do diff things bc he knows himself well

yoongi's letter: "to jungkook, a snowball for jungkook where holly & jungkook are together in it. hope that jungkookie who ran restlessly in 2019 meets Holly and have a healing time" (plus the cute snowglobe with koo as a bunny and holly)

it's the little things really, just more of yoongi's kind reassurances that jungkook's doing well
