Biden senior adviser Symone Sanders told the press that the Biden campaign believes ‘this is a key contrast for voters.

President Trump, who continues to ignore the science and has no plan to get the virus under control, and Joe Biden, who is working with the experts and putting together an effective plan to beat the virus and reopen schools safely.’

Back in July, Biden released his plan for reopening schools amid the pandemic. It calls for local governments to make their own decisions within their communities as well as for Congress to pass emergency funding to ensure schools had what they needed to proceed reopening safely.

Biden is also expected to condemn Pres. Trump’s threats to withhold federal funding for schools that do not fully reopen— a move that Trump doesn’t even have the power to enforce.
