While QAnon theories are easy to laugh about and make fun of, they come with real consequences.

QAnon targets already vulnerable and isolated people, radicalizing them in a brief amount of time. When we make fun of those people it isolates and radicalizes them even more. https://twitter.com/hellokatepayne/status/1301146656474386436
The consequence: handing fascists a silver platter of easily organized people. Does @joniernst actually believe in QAnon? No, but by instigating these theories, she’s building a base of people no one else is talking to, infact a base of people everyone is laughing at.

A year ago I would have said that incels would be the new iteration & base of fascism in the US.
What we are seeing now is that QAnon believers could be base of people to help fascists win the next decade and even this century.

If we don’t intervene in this crisis, the right will, and organize these people into chaos and barbarism.
