Claiming that a generation of young adults have been systematically brain washed by the academic system to become more moderate rather than conservative is a really insulting generalization. I became more moderate in my worldview because of Scripture, not because of academia.

I actually went to a conservative college and am going to a mostly conservative seminary. Saying people like myself have been brainwashed by "ideologies", since I believe that social and systematic justice is a biblical matter, is demeaning of my own rationality.

If I am honest, the thing that has pushed me to become more of a "moderate", to become more focused on the biblical mandate to care for societal needs, hasn't been "academic liberalization"; it's been seeing how contradictory conservatism has been is saying they care, w/o acting.
