The 3 Phases of Online Business (And Which Is Right For You)
You probably don’t WANT an online business that generates more than $3,000,000 per year.

There are 3 “phases” that I have seen working in, working on, or speaking with companies that have 6, 7, and 8-figure businesses.
Phase #1: Cashflow and “Momma I Made It.”
Phase #2: In the Trenches
Phase #3: Obsessed with the Vision + Outcome

Phase #1: Cashflow and “Momma I Made It.”
This is a business generating $5k-$50k/mo with 50%-80% profit.
They have money in the bank because they haven’t scaled yet.
Their business does not define them.
They aren’t obsessed with the vision.
They have a “personal ATM.”

Phase #2: In the Trenches
This is a business generating $100k-$250k/mo with 25%-50% profit.
They have built a solid team.
Their systems are built to move quickly at scale.
They are paying themselves handsomely.
Everything seems to be on fire and working well.

Phase #3: Obsessed with the Vision + Outcome
This is a business making $10m+ a year.
This is where Steve Jobs comes in:
“If you’re not obsessed, it’s hard to endure”
They are spending a ton of money on overhead.
They are a firefighter and not a business owner.
It’s NOT easy.

Most people should stay at or below the $3M mark, and enjoy it.
Find a purpose outside of the business.
Use the money to invest in other ventures that excite you.
People don’t get to $10M+ for a reason. It’s difficult and not what they originally signed up for.

What are your thoughts? Have you experienced these different phases?
