The fact some ppl are reacting to JB’s interview with “but TLJ is my favorite movie” or “but AD and Daisy are good actors” are completely missing the point of what John is trying to say. This ain’t about that, it’s abt an industry continuing to hire black actors for diversity~

and telling them they will be leads and then sidelining them. This isn’t just about SW it’s abt how rotten the core of the entertainment industry that they refuse to hold the pushback from racist and end up catering to them in the end. That’s what Lucasfilm and Disney did to JB.

He’s not the only one. It’s still happening RIGHT NOW. And they are risking their careers speaking out about it. Stop acting like a child. Grow up and realize these are bigger and more important issues than your taste in films or whatever.
