Important announcement re: Genie Links StreamingThe OVT was informed about the possible doubtful validity of streaming via Genie Links recently. We proceeded to email Genie over this issue, but received no reply.
Finally yesterday the K-Sming Team rang Genie on our behalf.
The answer came back firm & clear from Genie:
Streaming by 3rd parties other than the owner of a Streaming Pass does NOT count towards Genie chart
This was something that had not been confirmed 100% until now.
It’s important to note that Streaming from the owner DOES count

But henceforth, we advise the immediate halt of Genie Links streaming, & instead focus on
Streaming individually through verified accounts via purchased passes, or
