I am surrounded by books I bought that were written by my friends #onhere and it’s fucking dope. Buy book.
For the record, @colindickey writes books about things that I would write if I was as gifted, @johnlingan’s Homeplace is a must for anyone who tries Patsy at karaoke, @thebestjasmine is magic, I wish I could I read a collection of the comic @jfruh invented.
I’m reading @evaholland’s Nerve right now, and willing her off the side of a mountain with my mind. @lyzl is up next, and it is impossible to imagine it will be anything other than enraging and inspiring.
Buy my friends books. this is not me selling a 99 cent Kindle single explaining my Bigfoot theory, they are actually very good.
related: why don’t 25,000 of you promise to buy a 99 cent Kindle single explaining my Bigfoot Theory and never knock me for plagiarism because I’m not gonna do citations
I cannot in good conscience recommend grad school but this is actually probably a pretty good book https://twitter.com/hapaxlegoman/status/1301176850790658053
I hear some of you saying, Verbatim, “I cannot read your friends’ books because I only read deceptively playful poetry that makes you have to read some out loud to see how they feel in your mouth.” Well, GUESS WHAT, BITCH? My friends do that too.
If you want to describe your friend’s book to me I will add it to this thread later.
