You to me, is definitely a popular character, but also an under appreciated character. A lot of people don’t like because she’s popular, but it doesn’t make a difference to me either how popular or unpopular she is. It’s not gonna shake my love for the character either way.

You easily became my favorite character after watching Sunshine for the first time. Her determination to help Chika and always putting her friends before herself while somewhat toxic, proves how selfless she is.

Episode 11 is my favorite episode in the anime because it truly shows how she overcame the negative effects of always putting others first and not thinking of herself when she starts to feel like she’s drifting apart from Chika because she feels like she’s in Riko’s shadow

Mari and Riko helping You realize her self worth so she doesn’t make the same mistake the third years did, and the moment when You finally breaks down and tells Chika was really beautiful to me. It shows how human she is.

Regardless of how anyone else feels about her, she has and always will be my favorite. She deserves her popularity and all the love she gets, just as every other character does.
