my favourite alcohol free beers and less conventional 'adult' soft drinks just in case my post on alcohol free spirits the other day wasn't your bag and you're bored of heineken zero [threaddie mercury]
big drop are the legends that the beer industry needed. they don't make any alcoholic drinks, they've just honed the craft of making delicious beers without the buzz. their darker beers like the choccy stout and the hazelnut porter are big winners
lucky saint are the ideal beer for bbqs, festivals and getting on the 'sesh'. think red stripe but actually decent. very, very drinkable when chilled and bonus points for looking like a legit beer because who really wants to spend the entire evening explaining why you don't drink
punchy drinks do a range of alcoholic and alcohol-free tinnies that are absolutely jam packed with flavour. my favourite is the cucumber and yuzu (not pictured because drunk)
scotland has a big reputation for their brewing, fermenting and distilling industries and these clever kombuchas from glasgow really deliver flare above the rest. fancy a quick pick-me-up? these fermented teas with subtle notes of lime/ salt, lemon/ lavender and ginger really pop
this is not just a... yada yada. m&s heard our cries for train tinnies and started stocking these bad boys in loads of their stores. the ideal can if you want g&t on-the-go but don't want to be popping migraleves by the time you reach milton keynes
real kombucha. these guys are the bees knees that you may have spied in a few boujie restaurants. if you're a natural wine connoisseur or a champagne fiend, this is the one for you. perf for dinner parties when you still want to bring a bottle but a 2L thing of fanta is inapprops
coast beers are another brewery solely focussed on delivering top notch alcohol free beers. i've noticed they also lack the bitterness that you might find in a conventional IPA, which is nice if you want a bev but don't fancy having that lingering tang on your tongue post-pub
ghost ship is a beer from adnams that comes with or without alcohol and in a can or a bottle. i've tried them both and didn't massively notice the difference. a great one off but drink too many and you might notice a build-up of nitrogen in your tum tum *burp*
TRIP make great CBD-infused drinks. CBD is the non-psychoactive chemical in cannabis that can reduce stress and anxiety. the dose in this drink probably isn't enough to take much effect but it's super tasty and a fun concept. i'm excited to see more brands enter this market
let me know your favourite alcohol-free "adult" drinks and i'll keep adding to this as i discover more
