It's time, once again, to delve into the depths of #FormerpaganProTips.

As we approach several important months out of the year, it is incumbent upon me to issue several important Do's and Don'ts. First, some context...
Of course, there's been a great deal of scuttlebutt in regards to the machinations behind-the-scenes in regards to the election and those who are fueling the flames (no pun intended) of the massive unrest in our country as of late.
pagans and 'witches' have taken to social media and these efforts will only INCREASE in the coming month, as they have HIJACKED what is actually a Holy time of the year.
SO, with that being said, it is my absolute duty to once again - as with last year - give a few pointers on how to enjoy the coming months and prepare for what should be the 2nd Triduum of the Litrugical year.

Hallowtide!
FIRST - I don't believe I really need to say this - but don't play with talking boards.

just don't. Intention is 100% of everything and it's also 100% necromancy. No bueno. That's how you get demons.
SECOND - DO educate your friends who refer to Halloween as "Reformation Day" and say it's the d*vil's birthday.

That's just stupid. Hit them with Memento Mori and remind them of the Communion of Saints.
THIRD - A lot of people like to do 'spooky' things, like visiting 'haunted' houses and the like.

Just don't. Visit a graveyard instead and pray for the people that have been laid to rest there.
FINALLY - DO celebrate. Pray for the dead. Embrace the skulls and the silly movies (but don't get too crazy). Go to Mass on the 1st and 2nd of November.

And remember that the month of September is devoted to Our Lady of Sorrows!
Spend the next two months researching WHY Halloween IS what is IS and WAS what it WAS.

Let's TAKE IT BACK, Catholics!
