Since y’all are mad at “EXO is the standard” here’s some receipts that EXO is the standard @weareoneEXO
I’m making this thread because I saw EXOLs minding their business and praising EXO without bringing anyone down but antis started camping under their tweets dragging EXO and doubting their achievements so here’s some EXO achievements that made them the standard for many things:
In 2013, when EXO were still rookies, they became the first group to become million sellers in 12 years.
In 2015, EXO became the youngest group ever to hold concert (3 days in a row) at Tokyo dome AND the only group to sell out Tokyo dome without a Japanese debut.
Also in 2015, EXO were the first ever group to hold a dome concert(3 days in a row) in South Korea and it was sold out as well.
In 2017, EXO became the first group in 16 years to sell out Jamsil stadium in South Korea which also makes them the youngest group ever to sell this stadium out.
Also in 2017, EXO became the first ever quadruple million seller group.
In 2018, EXO performed at the closing ceremony of PyeongChang Olympics as the honourary ambassadors of Korea.
Later that year, they were named “nation’s pick” by the South Korean government.
Also in 2018, EXO became the first group to receive official commemorative medals.
EXO became the first group to have their song played at the Dubai Fountain making ‘Power’ the first ever Kpop song to be played at the world’s tallest and largest fountain.
In late 2018, EXO became the first ever group to become quintuple million sellers.
Baekhyun was chosen to sing the South Korean national anthem in 2014 and later in 2018 as well.

EXO were the first group to achieve a lot of things in Kpop which makes them the standard since you know...they were the first to do it and other groups followed..that’s what a standard is. Doesn’t matter who’s more successful atm. Congrats to groups who broke records EXO
