Little exclusive: The first battery-free gaming device has been developed by a team in the US and the Netherlands. This Game Boy is powered by solar energy and power generated by mashing the buttons.

It's hoped the system, which will be presented at UbiComp 2020, will inspire communities from game developers to consumers to radically rethink how the world approaches sustainability and climate change. Also, it's just really clever engineering.
