Twitter is just people tweeting about how they don't like something that others like hoping to get enough attention and "blow up", but 99% of the time people just end up pissing off a lot of people for literally no fucking reason.

I didn't need to say this opinion, I'm not even that passionate about this opinion, and literally not a single person on earth wanted to hear my opinion on this topic, and yet I tweeted it anyways. "Oh you're just exercising your free speech", yeah I know I CAN say whatever I...
... want, but I like to have a reason behind whatever I say, be it to make people laugh, make people think, get an answer off if people, etc. But with me tweeting this, all I was ever going to do was get people who agree with me to like my tweet, and people who disagree with...
... me to reply angrily to the tweet. I even have an angry reply to their angry reply ready in my drafts, but literally what's the point? It's people's opinions, I'm not gonna change them on Twitter of all places, and even if I could, why would I want to? Them enjoying gym...
... content literally doesn't affect me in the slightest. I find the topic unbearably boring after having watched a lot of creators who focus their content on gym material, but so what? No one cares about what I think, the same way that I don't care what you or anyone else...
... thinks about gym content, so why the FUCK did I tweet out about it in the first place, when I know well that I have friends who follow me who would disagree and agree, like I already know what those in my personal life feel about it, and to be perfectly honest I don't...
... really care about what my followers think about it, like why would I? This is the type of shit Twitter tries to drag out of you, it makes a certain type of person WANT to tweet, and when you've nothing interesting to say, all you CAN say is shit that'll piss people off.
Such a damn toxic environment, at least with YouTube if I have an opinion that nobody cares about but I record a video about it anyways, I have more than enough time to scrap it whilst I'm editing. The problem with Twitter is that everything is all so instant, there's no...
... time to think for yourself. You have to reply immediately or you've lost the argument, you have to reply as quickly as you can to big creators to try and get some likes and hopefully followers too, everything is all just so in-the-moment oriented, and I think that THAT is...
... what makes a lot of people comfortable with being toxic on Twitter. When you feel like you have to say something really quickly you'll often think of the worst thing you can say, because that'll get the most attention, and on a platform where there's little to no chance of...
... anyone earning money on here, the only thing to earn is attention, so people are gonna do everything they can to get it. You could even consider this thread me looking for attention, however I like to think of these threads as just me thinking out loud so I can look back...
... on shit I used to think, which is what I initially enjoyed about Twitter. But oh well, rant over.
