There is a direct link between Foreign Aid and corruption in Africa that people don't publicly talk about. I had a mind-blowing chat with a friend recently about foreign donations to African healthcare and the reason why we see limited progress with healthcare infrastructure.

Why are those donations not going to educating more doctors and helping them set up healthcare entities as business ventures instead of going to the government? Even internal pilferage within those donor agencies just embolden the thieves in public sector. We really have issues.

When you set up the stage for bad things to happen, then complain when they actually do happen, you are just being disingenuous. Especially when you are not saints with those donor funds. You give with one hand and take data and half of those funds given to your country people.
