So I have been asked COVID questions by several people, so here comes some info...
1. The CDC 6% statistic is brutally misleading and frankly irresponsible without further explanation.

Example: Patient with heart failure, who has been doing very well on medication, gets COVID, develops respiratory failure and dies. He died from COVID, not heart failure
2. Young healthy people have a very low risk of dying from COVID (not zero, but very low). BUT the problem isn't with young healthy people dying; it's that they spread it rapidly in mass, and then it inevitably spreads to older less healthy people, many of whom will die.
3. Roughly 200k more Americans have died since March than die in a typical year. That is NOT coincidence. There is no way to spin that one away, it's COVID.
4. It has now been seen time and again that transmission can be reasonably controlled in communities that heed social distancing guidelines and have high rates of wearing masks. This does not mean we have to shut down, we just have to be smart. Why is that so hard or political?
