Homeowners in the UK!

Fancy £5-10K to spend on your house and cut your future cost of living!?

Let me tell you how! 👇
Rishi Sunak has announced the Green Homes Grant.

This Grant is to enable homeowners to make their homes more energy efficient for example cavity wall insulation, roof insulation and carbon reducing boilers to name just a few.
You can also have new double glazing on the government but only if you currently have single double glazing.

So how does it work you ask? 👇
There will be a primary and secondary voucher available, you must choose a primary option to get a secondary and the secondary voucher is capped at the same amount as the primary
So for example if you got £400 to complete insulation you'd get £400 for a secondary option. See below what is primary and secondary👇
To qualify you need to install, as your primary improvement, either

Insulation (which can be a top up if you only have a small amount)

Or a low carbon carbon heating system such as air source, ground source heat pumps or solar thermal systems.
Then you can add a secondary option of:

Draught proofing
Double glazing*
Energy efficient doors to replace those from before 2002
And heating controls

So how do you apply?
You can apply end of September but start looking now!
1) Use the government's eligibility tool to find out if you're eligible.( I'll post the link at the end)
2) Get quotes on the work that you want doing from accredited tradesmen (remember to get at least 3 quotes for each job
The vouchers will only be intended to pay for two thirds of the work being done (upto £5k), unless you are on a disability or income allowance scheme where you can get it fully paid for and receive upto £10k.
Ahhh i said UK and I meant England.... it is not available for Wales, Scotland or Northern Island.

My apologies!
