(A short thread)
For #Antifa to make proper progress, we need to make clear goals and intentions. We need to better organize and make clear demands and how we want them met -- such as "We will protest/riot at (x locations) at (x time and date) until you meet (specific demand.)
An example, "We will riot at Portland town hall and downtown Chicago starting September 24th until congress signs a bill to pass #M4A + send out monthly $2000 #Stimuluscheck s to all Americans over the age of 17."
And once congress passes a #MedicareForAll #M4A now bill, we will use to same tactic to demand it make its way through the house, then do the same until it makes it through the senate. We will do this for each step the bill takes until it is signed into law.
We will do that for every demand we make. Yes, there will be blood. Yes, they will send troops to those locations to try and stop us. But we cannot let that stop us, or we will be giving them exactly what they want, and no change will be made.
Revolutions are won with blood, as unfortunate as that is. But we have suffered enough and we DEMAND CHANGE Right. Now. We have to do everything it takes to create a country where everyone can thrive and live happily and healthily.
Most of America are uninformed about our cause, and are sitting at their TVs getting tired of seeing what appears to be "senseless rioting."
And that is cause to a lack in a publicly announced goal and demands, and clear means in how we will achieve them -- that's what "lack of organizing" is referring to.
And this demand for racial justice has turned into a demand for a proper life for every American. We went from #BlackLivesMatter to #BLM and a class war. But the average American is seeing these riots and thinking "When will this senseless violence let up."
We need to make it clear to them that this isn't "senseless violence," rather a revolution for a change in how this nation treats its people. And again, to do that we need to make our goals and demands clear to our enemies and to potential allies (the average American at their TV
And to do that, we need to do what was first mentioned in this thread. https://twitter.com/HenleyFirewood/status/1301076672075231233?s=19
