I’m not sure which is worse - a law professor who has never practiced law that tries to tell experienced lawyers how we should practice, or one who infantilizes associates as if they’re not actual adults.
It’s close, but I’m gonna go with the latter. The former is inane, but not unexpected. The latter is actually condescending; associates deserve better to be told how they should feel by someone who has never actually done their job.
I hope no one was made too anxious by the fact that I tweeted this thread at 1 am.
