Industrial milk production (which is what it is) is not to everyone's taste. I buy my milk like 99.9% of the UK via those methods. And the standards in many; although not all dairy farms, are very high. Been there, done that, got the T shirt.

However the trade off is big.
Dairy genetic fiddling, abnormally high yields (a lot more than what she would produce naturally - sometimes by over a factor of 20); the constant stomach ache from a high protein/ limited grass range diet with methane emissions; mastitis...the list goes on.
